BBC - Press Office - Cash, Mealey and Coogan bring you Sunshine!: May 8, 1:43pm 1 review uk •http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pres...; Over the past 4 weeks or so, I have spotted cameras and crews dotted around Marple: Here outside an end terrace; there at the local sixth form college; and today an all day session outside the local cinema (and on the main street). The icing on the cake was seeing a large truck and trailer with film crew and car on the back - apparently this is the safe way to record driving scenes.

Asking around, I have discovered that there is filming for a 3 part series to be shown in the Autumn. A bit more digging, and I discover it is something written by Craig Cash (who lives locally), and starring Steve Coogan.

Googling reveals this BBC press release. What I've seen is the bit referred to at the end: "filming near Stockport"

Look forward to seeing this on TV.

In London, there is a surprisingly large amount of green space, and some of it well kept, but there are plenty of unsightly and wasted patches of ground. I wonder whether they should include edible plants in their repertoire?

Amazing that they have been chased off by the police in some instances.
